River Floats, Canoes and Kayaks
Bring your own vessels for canoeing and kayaking on the Upper Mountain Fork River, Glover River and Broken Bow Lake.
You can rent canoes at the Beavers Bend Resort Park. There are no rapids. The water is calm. This is an ideal float trip for younger children or folks that do not want to dump their canoe over. Ideal for picture taking. Canoe outfitters are located about 5 miles east of Broken Bow on Hwy 70. The canoe outfitters will haul you to the top of Beavers Bend park. You float down the lower Mountain Fork River. You can expect to navigate Class IV rapids, some white water, and the infamous 3' Presbyterian Falls. Plan on losing all you gear.
